• Day trip to the Isle of Mull – travel by ferry to the village of Craignure and visit Duart Castle, the ancestral home of the Maclean Clan overlooking Loch Don

• Travel through the Caledonian Canal passing through Neptune's Staircase, an impressive flight of eight locks

• The Jacobite Steam Train - which crosses the 21-arched Glenfinnan Viaduct seen in the 'Harry Potter' series – the train starts near the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis; passes close by Loch Morar and arrives next to Loch Nevis
