Called a “Celebration of the Best of Humankind” and “an uplifting piece of art for the time” – the Tony® Award-winning breathtaking musical, COME FROM AWAY, is based on the true story of when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleep-over when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from across the globe, were diverted to Gander’s air strip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.

As one of the few remaining “theatre in the round” style stages in the country, each and every show at the North Shore Music Theatre is hand-crafted to suit this award-winning theatre’s unique design. Prior to the show, take in the waterfront views and enjoy a three-course lunch at the Danversport Yacht Club.

Reservation cancellation received within 48 hours of tour departure: Not eligible for customer credit or refund

Cancel for Credit Protection is ONLY available on Day Tours. The non-transferable credit remains on customer account and can be applied to any reservation. Credits do not expire.
